Ed100.orgOverview
Education is: students and teachers spending time in a place for learning with the right stuff and a system that supports success. Using this statement as a scaffold, Ed100 explains, in plain language, the many Theories of Change that compete for attention in education reform efforts. The education system is too big to work on all of it at once, especially on a volunteer basis. It is easy to become lost in the weeds; Ed100 was originally created as a set of primers to provide new Full Circle Fund members a map through those weeds. Which organizations and thinkers bring what perspectives to this work? What are the core facts? What causes people to view change ideas so differently from one another? In 2011, Full Circle Fund made these primers available to the public as Ed100.org, an interactive resource for people who want to learn how to make education work better, especially in California. Ed100 helps clear the brush and get you straight to the most important ideas and resources without dumbing anything down.

NAME: Ed100
"Education change is complex work. When I left the tech sector and began exploring ways to help make education work better I wished for a jargon-free resource to help me understand the full range of competing ideas and perspectives. It didn't exist. Eventually, with help from many people, I decided to write it as Ed100.org." Jeff Camp Chair, |
